Armie: Got a face for it too (this is a funny joke, face for radio meaning not good looking, as if). I have done voice-overs, yeah.
Boy DJ: Nice, I was just watching a video about your daughter, you were on..it was Kimmel.
Armie: Which one?
Boy DJ: He was talking about the picture of the drawing that she made so did you bring some of those with you today coz I'd like to see more of those.
Armie: I carry them with me everywhere as you're listening over the wireless I'm pulling it out of my pocket right now.
Boy DJ: She's got a certain psychological attitude that is very interesting with the way she draws.
Armie: So we go to France, we're in Paris, I'm there for work and I take the family and of course there is not a more globally phallic symbol than the Eiffel Tower, right?
Boy DJ: Except for the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
Armie: But that's just compensated, we all know that. Umm, so we're there and we go to the Eiffel Tower, we take her around, we're having a good time, and like later that night she's like, "I can't sleep", and I'm like, "What do you want to do?". "I wanna draw ... I'll do the Eiffel Tower", and i was like "That's so great, let me see give me that right now, give it to me..give it to me! OK, no more drawing for you, give me those pens, you're done "
Boy DJ: Can you describe it in a radio-friendly way exactly how it looked.
Armie: Ahh, it looked like a Penis. I don't even know if that is radio safe
Boy DJ: Haha! That's fine you could say that. That's perfect. That's basically what it looked like.
Girl DJ: Happy Father's Day by the way ... and you are a father of 2 beautiful children.
Armie: I am. Harper and Ford.
Boy DJ: Well in that mindset too she did draw another picture of the entire family which is a very nice portrayal of Armie because there was something in front of him that is quite accurate I guess.
Armie: I don't even know what you're referring too but ..
Boy DJ: When your son was in front of you ..

Boy DJ: It looked like there was something going on right around where your belt might be i'd say.
Armie: That was my belly button. Coz that what it was. haha!
Boy DJ: Ok, alright. Anyway, why are you here? What's going on tomorrow that we can talk about. Tell us about this event.
Armie: I'm here ... 1st of all I'm in Cayman because of this quarantine and this pandemic and all these stuff is crazy. My dad lived on here and we thought what better place to try to watch the world end and watch the world burn than sitting on the beach with a coconut full of rum. Kinda sounds perfect. And obviously I've grown up here ia have my ties, so we came down here and we were here eversince. And while we were here, we were talking to people about is there anything we can do or whatever, and my wife really spearheaded this whole thing. Elizabeth put this whole thing together.
Girl DJ: Yeah she said she's ever done, like the first big event put together. They're very organized.
Armie: It's incredible, I mean it's all set, everything's great and the amount of money that they've already raised for the local foodbank here, which is having a hard time feeding all the people.
Girl DJ: That's right $7000 a week she's told us yesterday.
Boy DJ: They're gonna run out of funds by the 5th of July if they don't get more cash.
Armie: Not anymore, the're not! Not anymore, especially if you guys come down tomorrow.
Girl DJ: Of course we're coming down tomorrow. This is all going down at Palm Heights Boutique Hotel, Tillie's, right on the beach. I can't think about a more picturesque atmosphere to do these workout and then to celebrate with a few cocktails.
Armie: I mean look, what's better than a post workout cocktail. Let's be totally honest, that's why I workout anyway.
Boy DJ: We have a few questions, and you may not know the answers to this but they were talking about there's gonna be a brunch tomorrow. Is that correct?
Armie: There will be food, there will be beverages. I will be working in the beverage station, the Splash Zone, if you will.
Boy DJ: You're gonna be a bartender.
Armie: I'll be a bartender. Yeah yeah.
Boy DJ: But there's a 25 person limit to gatherings so how are they getting around this coz there's gotta be a way around that.
Girl DJ: But it is an actual restaurant so they seek the capacity of the restaurant.
Armie: And we will be observing the Socail distancing and all the rules.
Boy DJ: We just want to clarify because we had more than one person who asked about that.
Armie: Who's side are you on here? Is this gotcha(?) journalism. What's going on here.
Boy DJ: I'm just trying to encourage people to come down and say don't worrk about it.
Girl DJ: People will be circulating in and out. Some people will drop by, some will eat, other people who are not into working out maybe they just want to have a cocktail.
Armie: Well, it's 10 in the morning you might as well come have a cocktail. It's Saturday.
Girl DJ: And the sales of the Liquor is going to support the Conscious Kid as well.
Armie: Yes, and so, the website is open palm. We'll be all at Tillie's working out having a good time and then afterwards having some drinks and then trying to feed Cayman doing our part.
Girl DJ: Also dropoff spots for canned goods or dried goods, i believe it's 7th at the Ritz Carlton at the Grand Cayman. I gotta say it right they the full title.
Armie: Is that a real thing you have to say The Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman.
Boy DJ: Yes, you just can't go with "The Ritz" on this one.
Girl DJ: And you can go to 7 or you can go to Palm Heights as well.
Armie: So if you any extra food or non-perishables, you have any canned goods, dried food or anything like that, drop it off.
Girl DJ: I was one of those who kinda went crazy in the grocery store with the canned goods, I can clean up my cupboard.
Boy DJ: I might have stocked on some toilet paper.
Armie: That's where all the toilet paper
Boy DJ: Toilet paper, condoms, and a few other things. Condoms are completely unnecessary for quarantine.
Girl DJ: Probably get more of some green beans, i don't know why you went for those 2 things at the shelves.
Boy DJ: We got some inside info on you. Apparently you've had a different haircut everyweek during quarantine. Was this all self induced?
Armie: 100% self induced. Ah, it was sort of born out of necessity. This has been a crazy time and i think a lot of people...
Boy DJ: You think this is a crazy time..
Armie: Ok, let me tell you, you might not believe this, but...
Boy DJ: Man it has been a book of exodus. Earthquake, Fire , Pestilence, and Plague
Armie: You are the horseman of the apocalypse
Boy DJ: Yeha I brought it all in, sorry about that.
Armie..I, I, yeah, I just felt out of control during this whole thing. When they tell you you can't leave your house, you can't do whatever you want to do, you gotta listen to rules, that's really foreign to me. Someone be like, you have to listen to my rules,I'm like yeah I don't do that. But now i'm like we have to do that, and I felt completely powerless, I felt completely out of control, and the one thing I could control was my haircut. So I was like, you know what, I've never had a mohawk..there was a mohawk, there was this and that. There was ridiculous facial hair. But it was just what I could control at that time.
Boy DJ: So it was you and a pair of clippers at that was it.
Armie: Me and a pair of clippers..and a growing sense of mania
Boy DJ: There was no penis in your haircut, you didn't let your daughter touch your hair,right?
Armie: No, no, I did not.
Girl DJ: It's funny because you said you went to school here. And I actually, I know Ms. Sam who, I worked with her coz I taught at the school she taught at for years and she's wonderful by the way.
Armie: Hi Ms. Sam, if you're listening.
Girl DJ: I said how was Armie as a student, and she said "Well, *sigh*", he couldn't sit still for very long. He's Brilliant, but he couldn't...
Armie: Wait i'm sorry I missed that last part, would you say it again.
Girl DJ: She did say you're brilliant, and she also said you can't tell him what to do. Armie's gonna do what Armie's gonna do. So that's probably the haircut, that was going back to your junior high days...
Armie: At one point, my daughter was like "I wanna open a nail salon in the apartment that we're in" and I was like OK what do you wan't to do, she said "I wanna paint your toenails pink", Well you know what, Go ahead, like why not, anything for my daughter.
Boy DJ: And btw, what's with the mopping
Armie: Again, it is something I could control. It was, in a world of craziness and in a world of entropy, I could clean something.
Armie: I mean, amongst other things that were less productive, for sure that was one of the things.
Boy DJ: It made you feel more productive.
Girl DJ: Maybe for Father's day you'll get you one of those spin mops, life changer.
Armie: Ahh, I've seen those I have an issue with the spin mop. I feel like you have less surface area of the actual mop has tto fit in that spin-ny thing, so I feel like you get less cleaning surface
Girl DJ: Unless you and my husband talk it out, he's a big fan
Armie: (I didn't understand)..for hours, don't even worry about it.
Boy DJ: Alright, one more question for you, Call Me By Your Name, great movie. There's been talk about the sequel. What's gonna happen with that, you know? Can you talk about it?
Armie: Dude, currently right now, I don't know if they'll ever gonna make another movie again.
Girl DJ: Well the "Bold and the Beautiful" is back is back in production.
Armie: Thank God, I can breath again
Girl DJ: I'm sure you could squeeze a role in there.
Armie: yeah yeah for sure. I'll call my people.
Boy DJ: Of course movies are gonna come back
Armie: They'll come back. Especially now when everyone's locked in their houses for the most part, people need to be entertained. Fortunately we will be one of the businesses that does open up sooner rather than later. I know that my buddy Daniel Bruhl is shooting a movie right now in Berlin, i mean that he's directing, he's actually shooting the movie is going, so we will shoot again.
Boy DJ: But you don't know when. No more details to that.
Armie: No, the only thing I know is tomorrow everyone should be there at 10am at Palm Heights that we can do some workout with isaacboots, my wife Elizabeth Chambers, Tammi Maines and Gabbi Khalil.
